TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX suspension trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.

TRX uses a single strap hung in half attached to the ceiling, with loops for your hands and feet. The singular piece of kit might not look like much, but after a few minutes in the class, you will be feeling it! Our instructors will take you through a full body workout working through various planes of movement and push/pull exercises.

TRX can be very effective to help build strength, balance, stability, and core strength. The straps can be great to use for balance assistance for movements such as squats, lunges, and single leg squats to help you work on a bigger range of motion with support.

Don’t underestimate how much of a core workout you’ll get from this class! It is vital to keep your core engaged while using these straps to avoid any injuries while in different positions on the straps. If you keep your core engaged, shoulders pulled down and posture aligned throughout, then you’ll be smashing through the reps in no time!

You don’t need any experience to do this class as our instructors will coach and guide you through it and ensure you are moving safely throughout the class with options to make the resistance from using your own body weight easier or harder if required.
