Our instructors will guide and coach you through a kettlebell class teaching you how to use them while maintaining great technique. Kettlebells are an excellent addition to your training as they work on strength, endurance, mobility, coordination, and power while working through different planes of motion to get fit for everyday life.

You’ll swing, squat, lunge and press your way through the class to improve your fitness and body composition!

 Benefits of kettlebell training:

  • Train multiple muscle groups in the same class
  • Wide selection of weights to choose from so there’s something for everyone.
  • Increases your power and endurance, which can benefit a wide variety of sports.
  • They can help prevent injuries. Adding more lateral and rotational movements to strengthen muscle groups we don’t often use, or strength train which can help support the body.
  • Increase in core strength. Adding in kettlebell classes to your routine will help strengthen your core. To be able to hold the kettlebell in positions safely using single or double bells core strength is required.
  • Simplicity – kettlebell exercises are simple; the workouts are easy to follow, and you don’t need much space in the studio or equipment.

I’ve never used kettlebells before, what do I need to know?

Arrive to your class 5-10 minutes early to speak to the instructor who can advise what weight selection of kettlebells you will need for the class.

Leave your weight expectations at the door. Kettlebell training is different from the size of weights you’d use on the gym floor. Start light and get used to technique with using the kettlebell before starting to increase weights to prevent injury (and so you can still walk the next day!).

Wear comfortable clothing and enjoy the class!
