Les Mills Body Combat is a high-energy martial art inspired workout that fuels cardio fitness. Punch and kick your way through the class (non-contact) learning moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Martial arts experience is not required, just yourself and some energy! (maybe a bottle of water would be handy too!) Release stress, have a blast, and leave feeling like a champ!

The amount of energy (calories) you burn doing any activity including Les Mills Body Combat depends on your own age, weight and height so that's why the person next to you in class calorie burn may be slightly different!

Stress relief - in our busy lives we run into stress on a day-to-day basis. Les Mills Body Combat is a great way to relieve this through the punches and strikes involved in the class, helping you switch off and combining this with feel good endorphins after the workout, we know you'll be back for more!

I’ve never done this class before, what do I need to know?

Les Mills Body Combat is open and accessible for everyone and at Gym 64 we make everyone feel comfortable whether it's your first class or 100th class! Our instructors will coach and guide you through the class demonstrating various options throughout so there's an option for everyone. Everyone is able to then enjoy the workout at their own pace.

No need for any martial arts experience. This class is noncontact martial arts and you will be following the instructor through the choreography.

You’ll never get bored as a new release is launched every 3 months with brand new choreography.

Wear something comfortable with trainers so you are able to bounce on your feet and move in multiple directions while getting a little sweaty! Remember to bring a bottle of water to re hydrate throughout (don't panic if you forget as we sell water at reception!)
